Welcome to the 2018 National Assembly of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, “One Society Serving in Hope.” August 29 – September 1, 2018 at the Manchester Hyatt in San Diego, California. We have a lot of exciting changes in store for this year, as well as welcoming our new president, Ralph Middlecamp.
Come listen to our keynote speaker Dr. Hosffman Ospino, assistance professor of Hispanic Ministry & Religious Education as he opens our meeting on Thursday afternoon.
There are many great workshops in store. You will have the opportunity to learn best practices for housing, food & stores, learn about the National Vehicle Donation Program, Neighborhoods of Hope, charitable pharmacies, Getting Ahead & restorative justice, spirituality, governance, development, communications, formation and Voice of the Poor. There will certainly be something for every Vincentian.
And don’t forget the host city event that will be held on Friday evening! Attendees will enjoy an evening at the San Diego Sea World, hosted by the Western Region. Sea World is an unforgettable experience, there will be opportunities to interact with several exhibits, enjoy wonderful food, music and Vincentian camaraderie.
