Celebrate Blessed Frederic Mosaic in National Shrine

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, all are invited to attend Mass in celebration of the dedication and installation of a mosaic of our founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, in the Vincentian Chapel at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
Mass will be held at noon, celebrated by SVdP National Episcopal Advisor, Bishop Hying.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (the Shrine) is the largest Marian shrine in the Western hemisphere, located on the Catholic University of American campus in Washington, DC.

Within is the Vincentian Chapel, featuring St. Vincent and St. Louise de Marillac statues, as well as one dedicated to the Miraculous Medal. It is in this chapel Blessed Antoine Frederic Ozanam will be enshrined by permanently mounting this beautiful mosaic. The Society has agreed to raise funds for the mosaic art and its installation, along with a celebratory Mass and reception. All in time for the 175th anniversary celebration!
