SVDP Ozanam Orientation – Feb 1st at San Rafael Catholic Church

“… as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” Mat.25:40

In 1845, the Society came from Paris to the USA, bringing Frederic Ozanam’s works of justice and charity. The National Council of the USA and local Conferences soon arose across the country, in the footsteps of Frederic, with visits to the sick, hungry, and homeless. This Orientation introduces you to our Founders, Saints and Blesseds; and sheds light on the Society’s structure and International disaster relief efforts. A Home Visit discussion caps the day to pique your interest in the person-to-person services that are the hallmark of the Society. Share experiences and questions. Grow in holiness. Experience it all! Materials & lunch are provided.
