On July 29th, Deacon Gene Smith, Past National President and current Western Regional Spiritual Advisor will conduct a 2-hour retreat for all members interested in growing in Vincentian Spirituality.
The focus of the retreat will be “Integrating The Vincentian Call Fully into My Life”. An hour presentation on the Role of the Conference Spiritual Advisor (Facilitator) will follow.
The hope is that all will realize that any Vincentian can facilitate the process of having 15 to 20 minutes of thoughtful reflection on a gospel passage at each meeting. No Spiritual Advisor (Facilitator) in any Conference is an expert on Scripture. All members are encouraged to reflect and we all need someone to just “get us talking and sharing”.
